Without even thinking about it, you will find yourself feeding your child solid foods by a teaspoon. Then you will hardly have time to beat your eyelashes when it will stop wearing layers. As soon as it takes its first steps, it will come less often to take refuge in your welcoming arms.
Make the most of all the time spent with your child. All mothers realize that time flies. It is a truth that hurts, but it is better to know it in order to have no regrets. If you realize too late that you should have spent more time with your children, you will never be able to go back.

There are many who will try to warn you and teach you this terrible and compelling truth. But mothers never believe it. “They are exaggerating.” We think skeptically.
And even if they believe it, mothers are often afraid of overprotecting their toddlers or turning them into spoiled rotten children. To be sure that this does not happen, they ignore the advice and forget to enjoy one of the most beautiful moments of their life that will not be repeated.
But will it really hurt your child if you carry it more? If you make her feel your skin against hers? If you show her all your love? What’s wrong with that? Will you be guilty of taking advantage of every moment you spend with your child and showering them with kisses?
Wouldn’t you like time to stand still for you to enjoy its perfection and innocence ? That seconds turn into hours? Wouldn’t you like to believe that those childhood days will pass very slowly?

“Time stands still when I hug my child.” It may be what you think, but you are wrong. The passing of time is a real tyrant. One morning, you will wake up and you will understand in pain that time does not run: it flies.
This morning, your children will no longer need your arms: they will prefer to run on both legs. They will no longer be capricious to get on your precious knees, but to show you such and such a thing. At night, you may go to bed with a bitter taste in your mouth.
The next morning, the terrible truth will be all the more difficult to swallow. You will wake up and find your big boy with a backpack on his back, ready to go to school to meet some friends. You just have to beat your eyelashes and time flies. You will realize this every time you look at your child.
Your children will grow up to be tall, beautiful, strong, courageous and noble adults. They will have been brought up with love. It is for this reason that they will be sure of themselves, happy and independent. Beautiful children, but already grown up.
Enjoy every moment spent with your children because you will never look back. Take them in your arms when you feel like it. Let them sleep in your bed. Kiss them. Hold them close to you. Time flies by and takes with it everything that makes the spice of life.
Take advantage of every moment to have no regrets. Trust yourself and show your baby that you love them while there is still time. Sooner or later, you are going to have to give your child the best proof of your love as a mother: to let him take flight.
