5 amazing and fun crafts activities

Toys for children are more and more expensive. They demand constant fun: new gadgets that quickly replace old ones. Thanks to the amazing manual activities that we present to you, luckily you won’t have to rack your brains to make ends meet.

At our expense, television has taught us and the children that the newer the better. The new doll, the new car or even the new book. And everything has to be changed every week, otherwise the fun stops. Unfortunately, many parents even encourage these attitudes.

If you don’t want your child to be too spoiled (or just don’t have or don’t want to spend that much money on toys), try the following amazing craft activities. You will have a good time with the children and, by the way, you will teach them to value the effort.

5 amazing manual activities

1. A cardboard doll bed

If your children are doll fans, they will find it fun to make a cot for them. To do this, all you need is a few medium-sized cardboard boxes and strong glue. Also, if you want, you can add a few planks of wood to serve as a base.

Next, you will need to carefully cut out the sides of the boxes and shape the bed. Once you have the shape, you can place some small blankets and a small doll pillow. Eventually the children’s dolls will have their own place to rest!

2. Amazing crafts: a family of kittens with toilet paper rolls

While the glue is drying, you can paint the tubes and decorate them as you like. Once everything is dry, cut out a few ears from the cardboard. In addition, for the eyes, you can use the small balls of the pins (but be careful not to prick yourself). Finally, you will have a beautiful family of kittens that you can play with your child in no time!

3. Animal masks

If a fancy dress party or carnival is coming up, your child might want to be the most original. To make a splash, you don’t have to spend a lot of money : with manual activities you can find real wonders. So, to make an original mask, get cardboard, markers, glue and glitter.

Then draw the face of your child’s favorite hero or animal on the cardboard. Color them together and make two holes so they can see through. Then carefully cut out the mask and make two small holes at the ends to pass a rubber band.

4. More amazing manual activities: a recycled table football

It is an ideal manual activity for football fans. First, get a cardboard box, chopsticks, and ping-pong balls. In addition, take glue, nets in which to buy oranges and colored clothespins. Place the chopsticks horizontally in the box, then place the clothespins on top.

Then, pass them through the holes previously made in the cardboard box. Then paint half of the clothespins and chopsticks one color and the other half another color. You can decorate the box as you like. All you have to do is put the ball in and have fun!

5. A bag in the shape of an owl

To make an owl-shaped bag, you need colored felt, silicone and a pair of scissors. First, print the models to make the bag, cut them out and glue them on the felt. Once you have done that, glue the different parts of the owl so that the bag is closed.

Finally, use a piece of pink felt to place it in a rectangular shape, like a bag handle. Try to use more than one color and make sure they contrast with each other, your daughter will love her beautiful owl shaped bag!

In this sense, crafts are a great way to learn how to make games for children. So we start to teach them that fun doesn’t always have to come with a purchase. Our grandfathers and grandmothers played that way and were extremely happy.

So let’s learn from them, because it can also help us, by the way, to relax and get away from the problems of everyday life. Let yourself go and enjoy the best manual activities with your children!
