Dear Moms, Thank You For Teaching Us What True Love Is – Parenthood

We are watching you carefully and we cannot contain our admiration. The love we feel when you smile overwhelms us, so  does our heart exploding into thunderous beats every time you lay on us, your eyes so soft and the color of the sky. Dear moms, thank you for teaching us what true love is.

In fact,  we owe you so much that we will always be grateful to you. We are lucky and blessed. You are our example, our model and our pillar. Our support and our driving force. Thank you for showing us all that really matters in this life.

Dear mothers,  thank you for teaching us that love is not only received, but that it is also given,  and for making us understand that our  happiness  is not the only thing that matters, if not that of the people we love also. This is what we learn when we observe you devote your life to the beings essential to your daily life.

Thank you for teaching us what true love is

With your love so pure, sincere and true, we have come to understand many things. First of all, there are no limits or conditions. Whatever we do, there will always be patience and tolerance in solving the problems. This tenderness that characterizes you so much will remain eternal and unchanging in our soul.

Thanks to you, we have come to understand that someone’s happiness can simply lie in the joy or well-being of another person. This is what we feel whenever you are proud and happy about our successes  and achievements. It’s the same feeling when we collapse, we drag you with us to the bottom and it pains us.

It is certain that when we look at you, we understand that love can make people generous and united.   Always keep the best for loved ones. It doesn’t matter if you eat less or cold or leave the tastiest part for a third. It is born naturally and truly in your heart, it is the reflection of your noble soul that dazzles us so much.

Dedication and sacrifice are the words that stick to your skin. Seeing the other laugh, making their life easier, alleviating suffering and relieving pain is your natural talent. All these gestures that you reserve for us every day remind us of the true meaning of love, of life and of  motherhood.

In good and bad times, even the worst, you are always by our side, no matter the circumstances, sleep, hunger, grief or anger. You make sure that we move forward, that we never give up, by drawing the good from each misstep, by materializing the error in an unforgettable and indelible teaching.

At home, at work or with your studies, it didn’t matter,  there was always time for us in the home. And the fatigue generated by your work did not matter. The truth is that through kisses, laughter, hugs, caresses and the thousand “I love you”, we fill the most tender collection of anecdotes, etched forever in our hearts.

Thank you for teaching us so much

Without being Olympian goddesses, you gave us life and the best possible education. We give you our blind trust and our willingness to offer you all our secrets and our dreams. We are grateful and proud to have you as faithful friends, for life.

Thank you for showing us that true love is one that listens more and speaks less,  but with a strength that arises from the depths of your being. You are our support when the universe collapses, the only person who has unfailing confidence in us, who believes in our potential and knows how to exploit it to the fullest.

You have also instilled in us an infinite number of  values. Just by observing you, without your knowing it, we have learned so much, and without the need for moral lessons or threats. By simply looking at the way you behave, empathetic, understanding, supportive, generous and compassionate for life. Pure charisma and simplicity.

You have shown us that love is not a constraint except that it allows us to fly as high as we can. You have become our guides, without ever forcing the way. Every day you let us explore new routes and choose our direction. Finally, thank you to our angels for showing us that love is also synonymous with freedom.
